About Me

Who I Am

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida, expected to graduate in May 2029. From day one, I made a deliberate choice: real-world experience comes first. While I make sure I genuinely understand the fundamentals and concepts taught in class, I've poured my energy into building things, leading teams, and getting my hands dirty in labs, machine shops, and internships.

Currently interning at GE Vernova in Supply Chain Manufacturing. My main focus has been preventive maintenance and IBM Maximo integration, redesigning the Maximo UI based on direct feedback from floor workers, and CAD and manufacturing work alongside the engineering team.

GE Vernova
Supply Chain Manufacturing Intern
May 2026 – Aug 2026
  • Main project is PM (preventive maintenance) integration with IBM Maximo. Built Power Query workflows that pull data from multiple Excel files into one live document that auto-updates and prioritizes maintenance tasks by urgency.
  • Redesigned Maximo's UI after doing a plant walk to interview shop workers directly about what wasn't working, then went and made those exact changes.
  • Working with lead engineers on CAD design, making drawings, and seeing parts through to manufacturing to solve specific floor problems.
  • Collaborating with another associate in a commercial role to build an HTML training site consolidating all onboarding documents for new hires and interns in commercial operations.
  • Wrapping up with a full presentation to floor workers on capacitors and instrument transformers.
UCF Interfacial Transport Lab
Undergraduate Researcher
Jun 2025 – Present
  • Investigating experimental methods to improve efficiency of pulsating heat pipes (PHPs), focusing on single-loop aluminum prototypes using two-phase fluid oscillations for passive thermal transport.
  • Conducted independent CFD analysis using ANSYS to evaluate fluid flow characteristics and thermal performance.
  • Developed SolidWorks exploded-view models, collaborated with UCF machinists on prototype fabrication, and co-authored a research paper abstract.
  • Debugged Python scripts for improved oscillation data visualization and thermal performance analysis.
ASME Student Design Competition
Project Lead
Sept 2025 – Present
  • Led a 60+ member multidisciplinary team designing and fabricating an autonomous waste collection robot for ASME's 2025–26 Student Design Competition.
  • Coordinating CAD modeling, prototyping, and physical testing to optimize navigation, waste sorting accuracy, and material handling across inclines and rough terrain.
  • Managing design validation, fabrication documentation, and competition deliverables to maximize scoring and ensure rule compliance.
Baja SAE
Machinist
Aug 2025 – Present
  • Machined precision components for Baja SAE competition vehicles using CNC lathe (ProtoTRAK), manual mill, and fabrication equipment to meet rigorous performance specifications and tight tolerances.
  • Prototyped, inspected, and documented parts ensuring reliability and compliance with SAE competition rules for endurance, acceleration, and maneuverability events.
Robotics Club of Central Florida (Project Storm)
Drive & Science Team Designer
Aug – Dec 2025
  • Designed and tested mechanical systems for a lunar rover prototype for terrain navigation and autonomous object retrieval using a robotic arm.
  • Fabricated custom wooden test rigs enabling motor load testing up to 150 lbs. and validated structural integrity and power delivery.
  • Utilized precision CAD modeling to improve servo integration across articulated subsystems.
